Edmonton manages to hang on after a 4 nothing shutout of the Carolina Hurricanes. This game was absolutely what they need to head back to Carolina and kick their buts for a game 7 victory. This should give Edmonton enough steam and confidence to beat those ‘canes.
We watched this game from the ‘Teeky Hut’ located at my sister’s house. This room, after Glenn & I made a bench for the crowd that was impending, managed to seat all of us for the big game. Meatballs, Beer, Chips and Hockey, what more can you ask for? Winning the pool maybe? That’s right, your truly picks up some coin after the game came to an end with Edmonton winning 4-0.
Fater’s Day breakfast was served at Long Beach Marina in Cameron (North of Lindsay) and we departed from there to make it back to Oshawa in time to spend the entire afternoon working my hangover off cleaning the ‘Dungeon’ from which this website runs. At least the clutter never found it’s way to the site.
Update:
Well Edmonton faultered last night at the mercy of the Carolina Hurricanes. They definately outplayed Edmonton for most of the game, controlled the shots and made the hits and Edmonton didn’t hold up like I hoped. Although not regularly a fan of either team, it is nice to keep the cup at home, in CANADA! But I suppose it’s intention was to be the trophy of the winners and with that said it makes it’s way to Carolina for the year.

Check us out! I have been spending alot of time updating snowpics.ca I have decided to stop re-inventing the wheel and use two fairly popular products to manage my site and integrate them together. I was previously using Gallery to deal with the images and gallery functions of snowpics 1.0, but invented a blogging utility on my site myself to manage these posts. From doing some reading and investigation I found that WordPress was the best option as it simpler than a CMS and supports integrating with Gallery very well. After looking at the available themes, I snagged a few ideas and decided to build on them and make my own look for the site.
Although the site may need some changes and some tweaks, I am hoping that the functionality will work for everyone. Please feel free to break my site and let me know how you did it as I am sure there are some bugs I have not encountered yet. Also please comment on anything you see on the site including the blogs and images. I always appreciate feedback and criticism.
Thanks, and enjoy the new look!

Tonight after visiting my trusty photo store for some quick supplies I cleaned and dusted my sensor in my D-SLR. A daunting task, but none the less worth it. Using the solution and the wipes that came in the kit only took me about 15 minutes – but they were very stressful 15 minutes as if you screw it up that could be the end of the camera body. The sensor – this is the plane which captures the image – if damaged can result in very poor quality images.
After speaking to a few people and reading the weeeb I gained enough knowledge and enough cahoonahs to go for it. I was impressed with the results so far, but we will have to see what happens when I start taking more photos.
